Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On the 3rd day of July 1998 at the District Court at Tauranga, Michael Hughes of 77 Salonica Street, Whakatane, was convicted and sentenced to 2 months imprisonment, cumulative upon a term of 9 months and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence indefinitely from 3 July 1998 following his conviction on 3 July 1998, for an offence of driving with excess blood alcohol and in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge I. B. Thomas has ordered that a

Honda Civic motor vehicle, registered No. KL 3076 owned by Christine Duncan of 148 Nuffield Avenue, Napier, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Napier, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Napier, by 4.00 p.m. on the 6th day of July 1998.

Dissolution of Board of Trustees and Appointment of Commissioner at Mulberry Grove School (1385)

Pursuant to section 106 (1) (aa) of the Education Act 1989, for the reason that so many casual vacancies have arisen that there is no longer any member of the board who is eligible to preside at meetings of the board, I hereby dissolve the Mulberry Grove School Board of Trustees and appoint

The Wesley College Board of Governors Election Extension Notice

Pursuant to clause 9 (2) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989, and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I hereby extend the final date for receiving voting papers (and all subsequent actions in accordance with the Education (Trustee Elections) Regulations 1992) for the election of parent representatives for the Wesley College Board of Governors.

The poll shall now close on 30 July 1998.
