Pursuant to section 31B of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance gives notice of the publication of the financial statements of the Crown for:

• the 11 months ended 31 May 1998, on 26 June 1998.

Copies of these financial statements are available:

• for inspection free of charge at the National Library of New Zealand, Auckland City Library, Wellington Public Library and Canterbury Public Library;

I, Dr Alan Esmond Bolland, Secretary to the Treasury, hereby give notice that on 19 April 1998, I became aware that the Crown was vested under section 324 (1) of the Companies Act 1993 (by virtue of the removal of Mainland Finance Limited from the Register of Companies on 10 March 1995, pursuant to section 318 of the Companies Act 1993) with rights as mortgagee under mortgage No. 373891.3 registered against certificate of title 42C/925, North Auckland Land Registry.
