Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On the 16th day of June 1998 at the District Court at Tauranga, Aaron Lyall Heke of 3 Norman Heke Way, Bethlehem, Tauranga, was convicted and sentenced to 9 months imprisonment followed by 9 months supervision following his conviction on 16 June 1998, for an offence of causing bodily injury whilst driving with excess breath alcohol concentration and in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge I. B. Thomas has ordered that a Mitsubishi motor vehicle, registered No. WW 5708 owned by the above-mentioned defendant Aaron Lyall Heke, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Tauranga, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Tauranga, by 4.00 p.m. on the 16th day of June 1998.

Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicles

Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On the 15th day of June 1998 at the District Court at Tauranga, Samuel Aminio Vaisevuraki of 203 Dickson Road, Papamoa, was remanded in custody following his conviction on 15 June 1998, for an offence of driving whilst disqualified having previously been convicted, and in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge I. B. Thomas has ordered that a Mitsubishi Mirage motor vehicle, registered No. KN 559 and a Suzuki motorcycle, registered No. 19 STY owned by the above-mentioned defendant, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicles are to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Tauranga, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Tauranga, by 4.00 p.m. on the 15th day of June 1998.

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 8 February 1996, which was granted under those regulations to Te Aroha Hakaraia in respect of:

Te Aroha Pa Te Kohanga Reo (52777), situated at Rangitautau Road East, R.D. 8, Wanganui.

The centre has ceased to operate.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
