Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On the 8th day of December 1997 at the District Court at Tauranga, Andrew David Ward of 40B Manson Street, Tauranga, occupation unknown, was convicted and sentenced to 12 months supervision and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver's licence for 2 years from 8 June 1998, following his conviction on 8 June 1998, for an offence of refusing blood specimen, driving whilst disqualified having been previously convicted of driving whilst disqualified and threatening to kill and in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge D. C. McKegg has ordered that a

Honda Civic motor vehicle, registered No. KE 7069

owned by the above-mentioned defendant Andrew David Ward, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Tauranga, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Tauranga, by 4.00 p.m. on the 8th day of June 1998.

The Correspondence School Board of Trustees Election Extension Notice

Pursuant to clause 9(2) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989, and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I hereby extend the final date for receiving voting papers (and all subsequent actions in accordance with the Education (Trustee Elections) Regulations 1992) for the election of parent representatives for the Correspondence School Board of Trustees.

The poll shall now close on 8 July 1998.

This notice takes effect the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
