Education Lands Act 1949

Land Declared No Longer Needed for Education Purposes

Pursuant to section 5A of the Education Lands Act 1949, and pursuant to authority delegated to me, I, Paul Dickson Burke, Group Manager Property, Ministry of Education, Wellington, hereby give the following notice.

Notice

1. The land described in the Schedule to this notice is no longer required for education purposes.

2. This notice shall come into force on the 28th day of May 1998.

Road Stopped in South Waikato District

Pursuant to sections 116 and 117 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands declares the pieces of road described in the Schedule hereto to be stopped, and that areas “F”, “A” and “B”, now known as Section 2, S.O. 60273, and Sections 1 and 2, S.O. 60424 respectively, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 28B/235, subject to memorandum of mortgage B. 025237.4, South Auckland Land Registry.

Land Acquired for Service Lane and Service Lane Stopped in Matamata-Piako District

Pursuant to Parts II and VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for service lane and shall vest in The Matamata-Piako District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the piece of service lane described in the Second Schedule hereto, to be stopped and further declares that the said piece of stopped service lane, now known as Section 1, S.O. 58114, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 14B/628, subject to memorandum of mortgage B. 223853.4, South Auckland Land Registry.
