Pursuant to clause 9(2) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989, and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I hereby extend the final date for receiving voting papers (and all subsequent actions in accordance with the Education (Trustee Elections) Regulations 1992) for the election of parent representatives for the Linton Camp School Board of Trustees.

The poll shall now close on 9 May 1998.

This notice takes effect the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 1 October 1991, which was granted under those regulations to E. A. Walsh in respect of:

Te Arohanui Te Kohanga Reo (20316), situated at 1 Blue Gum Avenue, Silverdale, Auckland.

The centre has ceased to operate.

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 26 November 1996, which was granted under those regulations to Mary Tinning in respect of:

Picket Corner Childcare Centre (55169), situated at 410 Avenue Road, Hastings.

The centre has ceased to operate.
