Public Works Act 1981

Notice of Intention to Take Land for Road and in Connection With Road Diversion in Block XLI, Clutha Survey District

Notice is hereby given that The Clutha District Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1981, to take the land described in the First Schedule hereto for road, such land to be used for the widening of Four Mile Creek Road and to take in connection with the road diversion the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, such land to be disposed of to the adjoining land owner. It is considered essential to take this land due to the registered owner being of unknown whereabouts (deceased).

Any person having an estate or interest in the land may within 20 working days after the date of the first publication of this notice send in objection to the Registrar, Environment Court, Department of Courts, Tribunal Division, Justice Department, Private Bag, Wellington. If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be informed of the time and place of the hearing.
