NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE

Declaring Land and Right of Way Easement Over Land to be Acquired for the Purpose of a Reserve in the City of Dunedin and Revoking Previous Notice

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Crown Property Services, Land Information New Zealand, Dunedin:

(a) Pursuant to section 55, revokes the notice dated on the 12th day of December 1997, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 18 December 1997, No. 178 at page 4272 and registered in the Otago Land Registry as No. 946087, declaring land and right of way easement over land to be acquired for the purpose of a scientific reserve in The Dunedin City District.

(b) Pursuant to sections 20 and 28(a), declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for the purposes of a reserve, together with a right of way easement as described in paragraph 1 of the Seventh Schedule to the Land Transfer Act 1952, over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, to be held appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and shall vest in the Crown on the 30th day of April 1998.

First Schedule

Otago Land District—Dunedin City

All that piece of land containing 5.3014 hectares, being part Lot 1, D.P. 23040; shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 24327, lodged in the office of the chief surveyor at Dunedin.

Second Schedule

Otago Land District

All that piece of land containing 7210 square metres, being part Lot 1, D.P. 23040; shown marked “B” on S.O. Plan 24327, lodged in the office of the chief surveyor at Dunedin.

Land to be Declared Road, Situated in Blocks II and V—Toetoes Survey District

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Regional Manager, Crown Property Services, Land Information New Zealand, Dunedin, declares, pursuant to section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, that the land described in the Schedule hereto, shall be declared road and shall vest in The Southland District Council.
