Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

Sacred Heart College, Lower Hutt.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on the 17th day of April 1998. A copy of the supplementary integration agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, 65 Waterloo Road, Lower Hutt.

Resource Management Act 1991

The Resource Management (Approval of CLEAR Communications Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 1998

Pursuant to section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Minister for the Environment hereby gives the following notice:

N o t i c e

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Resource Management (Approval of CLEAR Communications Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 1998.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Interpretation—In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires, “telecommunications” and “radiocommunications” have the meanings given to those terms by section 2(1) of the Telecommunications Act 1987.

  2. Approval as requiring authority—CLEAR Communications Limited is hereby approved as a requiring authority under section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, to operate a network for the purpose of telecommunications and radiocommunications.

Fisheries Act 1983

The Fisheries (Quota Aggregation Limit Exemption) Notice (No. 2) 1998 (No. F82)

Pursuant to section 28W(3) of the Fisheries Act 1983, the Minister of Fisheries, after consultation with the New Zealand Fishing Industry Board and the Treaty of Waitangi Fisheries Commission, and after having regard to the provisions of section 28W(5) of the Fisheries Act 1983, hereby gives the following notice:

N o t i c e

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Quota Aggregation Limit Exemption) Notice (No. 2) 1998.

(2) This notice shall come into effect on the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Exemption to quota aggregation limit—As from the date that this notice comes into effect, Esperance Fishing Company Limited is permitted to hold quota and interest in quota in excess of the Fisheries Act 1983, for alfonsino up to a limit of 45 percent of the combined Total Allowable Commercial Catch for that species.

Gaming and Lotteries Act 1977

Permission to Conduct Within New Zealand a Lottery Promoted Outside New Zealand

Pursuant to section 69 of the Gaming and Lotteries Act 1977, I, Jack Elder, Minister of Internal Affairs, hereby permit Waterford Wedgwood Australia, to conduct within New Zealand, subject to the conditions specified in the Schedule to this notice, a lottery promoted outside New Zealand as a sales promotion scheme, to promote the sale of Coalport.

Conditions

The permission given by this notice is subject to the following conditions, namely:

(1) Waterford Wedgwood Australia shall not conduct the sales promotion scheme in New Zealand after 28 May 1998;

(2) The results of sales promotion scheme shall be published in the Sunday Star Times on 7 June 1998; Winners will be notified by certified mail;

(3) New Zealand winners shall not be subject to any extra cost when they claim their prizes;

(4) The chance of a New Zealand participant winning a prize shall be equal to that of an overseas participant.
