St Patrick’s Catholic School, Te Awamutu.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on the 9th day of April 1998. A copy of the supplementary integration agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, corner of Grey and Bridge Streets, Hamilton.

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that supplementary integration agreements have been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietors of the following schools:

St Patrick’s School, Panmure.

Holy Cross School, Henderson.

The said supplementary integration agreements were executed on the 9th day of April 1998. Copies of the supplementary integration agreements are available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, 39–45 College Hill, Ponsonby, Auckland.

Fisheries Act 1996

The Fisheries (Foveaux Strait Dredge Oyster Fishery) Notice 1998 (No. F81)

Pursuant to section 368A of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Minister of Fisheries, hereby makes the following notice:

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Foveaux Strait Dredge Oyster Fishery) Notice 1998.

(2) This notice shall come into effect on the day after its notification in the Gazette.

  1. Interpretation—In this notice the term “Foveaux Strait dredge oyster fishery” means the Foveaux Strait Dredge Oyster Fishery defined in regulation 2 of the Fisheries (Southland and Sub-Antarctic Areas Commercial Fishing) Regulations 1986.

  2. Reduction in total allowable catch—The total allowable catch for the fishery is hereby reduced to 20.3 million oysters.

  3. Oyster season—The Foveaux Strait dredge oyster season is hereby specified as the period commencing 1 May 1998 and ending 31 August 1998.

  4. Prohibited area—The taking of Foveaux Strait dredge oysters is prohibited from those waters which lie inside straight lines drawn from Saddle Point on Stewart Island (at 46° 43.4′ S and 167° 58.7′ E) to Garden Point (at 46° 46.4′ S and 168° 00.3′ E) and then to Mamaku Point (at 46° 51.7′ S and 168° 08.7′ E); then along the mean high water mark to the point of commencement.

  5. Purpose—New stock assessment information and information on the views of fishery stakeholders is now available which permits the revision of these sustainability measures for the fishery.
