Notice of Intention to Promote a Private Bill

Take notice that The Public Service Investment Society Limited, a society incorporated under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1908, intends to promote a private bill under the Short Title of “The Public Service Investment Society Limited Act 1998”.

The object of the Bill is to remove certain impediments to The Public Service Investment Society Limited registering as a company under the Companies Act 1993.

The promoter is The Public Service Investment Society Limited.

Pursuant to section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985, an order was made in the Papakura District Court on 7 April 1998, against Wayne Kenneth Lynn for the confiscation of the following motor vehicle:

1986 Mitsubishi L300 van, registration No. NA 3350.

Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On the 23rd day of March 1998 at the District Court at Tauranga, Hayden Wiremu Rangiera Todd of 1 Lawrence Street, Havelock North, Hastings, was convicted and fined $400 plus Court costs $130, reparation $200 and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence for 6 months from 7 August 1998, following his conviction on 23 March 1998, for an offence of driving whilst disqualified.

And in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge I. B. Thomas has ordered that a Honda CRX motor vehicle, registered No. OS 7432 owned by the above-mentioned defendant, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Tauranga, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Tauranga, by 4.00 p.m. on the 23rd day of March 1998.
