Pursuant to section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985, an order was made in the Alexandra District Court on 19 March 1998, against Ravindra Singam Ganesan of 93 Waenga Drive, Cromwell, for the confiscation of:

The Taupo Intermediate School Board of Trustees Election Extension Notice

Acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, under clause 9 (2) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989, I hereby extend the final date for receiving voting papers (and all subsequent actions in accordance with the Education (Trustee Elections) Regulations 1992), for the election of parent representatives for the Taupo Intermediate School Board of Trustees.

The poll shall now close on 15 April 1998.

This action is being taken because 80 voters were inadvertently sent more than one voting paper for the date originally set for the election, 9 April 1998.

This notice takes effect the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

The Waimairi School Board of Trustees Election Extension Notice

Acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, under clause 9 (2) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989, I hereby extend the final date for receiving voting papers (and all subsequent actions in accordance with the Education (Trustee Elections) Regulations 1992), for the election of parent representatives for the Waimairi School Board of Trustees.

The poll shall now close on 30 April 1998.

This action is being taken because the statements for two of the ten candidates were omitted when the original voting papers were posted to voters.

This notice takes effect the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
