Civil Aviation Act 1990
Notice of Variation of a Scheduled International Air Service Licence
Pursuant to section 87Q (4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990 and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 28 August 1996, I give notice that, having received an application from Malaysia Airlines of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, I have varied the Scheduled International Air Service Licence held by that airline to grant it the right to operate to “points in New Zealand”, with effect from 5 April 1998.

Pursuant to section 3 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby makes the following Order.
Order
-
Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Harbour Limits (Bay of Plenty) Order 1998.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the Gazette. -
Bay of Plenty harbour limits defined—The limits specified in the Schedule to this order are hereby defined as the harbour limits for Bay of Plenty.
Schedule
All the tidal waters of the Bay of Plenty region contained within a line commencing from the northern-most point of Orokawa Bay, in position 37° 22.6′ S, 175° 56.4′ E, thence north-easterly to the outer limit of the territorial sea, in position 37° 04.2′ S, 176° 18.8′ E, thence south-eastwards along the outer limit of the territorial sea to position 37° 20.0′ S, 178° 10.4′ E, thence in a southerly direction to Lottin Point in position 37° 32.1′ S, 178° 10.4′ E.

Notice of Disclaimer Under Section 338 of the Companies Act 1955—Former Property of Mercer Grain Services Limited
In the matter of the Land Transfer Act 1952, and in the matter of section 338 of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of Mercer Grain Services Limited (dissolved):
Whereas on 7 July 1997, I, Dr Murray James Horn, then Secretary to the Treasury, first became aware that the Crown was vested (by virtue of the removal of Mercer Grain Services Limited from the Register of Companies on 23 March 1995) with rights as lessee under lease 619983.1 dated 14 June 1973 between Roose Industries Limited at Mercer, as lessor and Mercer Grain Services Limited, as lessee, in respect of land at Mercer, registered on 30 July 1976 at the North Auckland Land Registry against certificate of title 46D/773, North Auckland Land Registry (“the lease”).
Take notice that I, Dr Alan Esmond Bollard, present Secretary to the Treasury, pursuant to section 338 of the Companies Act 1955, hereby disclaim for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, all right, title and interest of Her Majesty the Queen in the lease.

Exemption From Restrictions Relating to the Use of Television Sets in Motor Vehicles
Pursuant to regulation 90 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, I, John Andrew Justice, Senior Engineer, hereby exempt the motor vehicles specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of regulation 79 (1) (b) and (2), subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 2.
The notice in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 12 of 9 February 1995, page 393, titled “Exemption from Restrictions Relating to Use of Television Set in Motor Vehicle” and referenced as “go927” is hereby revoked.
