Pursuant to section 31B of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance gives notice of the publication of the financial statements of the Crown for:

• the 5 months ended 30 November 1997, on 16 January 1998.

Copies of these financial statements are available:

• for inspection free of charge at the National Library of New Zealand, Auckland City Library, Wellington Public Library and Canterbury Public Library;
• for purchase at branches of Bennetts Bookshops; and

Civil Aviation Act 1990

Summary of Exemptions Granted by the Director of Civil Aviation

Pursuant to section 37 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notification is hereby given of exemptions, set out in the Schedule hereto, granted by the Director of Civil Aviation.

Schedule

Nature of exemptions granted:

Docket 98/EXE/69, on the 9th day of January 1998,
Exempt each holder of a New Zealand certificate of registration of civil aviation rule 47.101 (a) to ensure that the aircraft bear a nationality mark and a registration mark in the manner, and in accordance with, the specifications prescribed in 47.111 to 47.117 inclusive.

Docket 98/EXE/112, to New Zealand Sport & Vintage Aviation Society (Inc) on the 16th day of January 1998.
Exempt the New Zealand Sport & Vintage Aviation Society (Inc) from the requirement to submit an aviation event plan to the director at least 90 days prior to the start of the aviation event, in the manner, and in accordance with the specifications in 91.703 (b).

This exemption shall remain effective until the 19th day of January 1998 or until withdrawn in writing by the Director to the New Zealand Sport and Vintage Aviation Society (Inc).

The grant of, or denial of, exemptions is also published in the Civil Aviation Rules Register Information Leaflet (CARRIL), as a 6-weekly publication of the Civil Aviation Authority. Exemption docket files may be viewed on prior request to the Registrar at the office of the Civil Aviation Authority at 1 Market Grove (P.O. Box 31-441), Lower Hutt.
