Auckland Region Fire Districts Notice, March 1998

Pursuant to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

1. This notice may be cited as the Auckland Region Fire Districts Notice, March 1998.

2. This notice shall come into force on the 6th day of March 1998.

3. This notice revokes and is in substitution for all previous fire district notices pertaining to the cities of Auckland, Manukau, North Shore and Waitakere.

Constitution of Fire Districts

4. The urban areas listed in the Schedule are hereby constituted as fire districts.

5. The boundaries of the constituted fire districts are defined and delineated on plans held at the Regional Office, Arapawa Fire Region, New Zealand Fire Service, Wellington.

Reserves Act 1977

Change of Classification of Part of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Northland Conservator, Department of Conservation, hereby changes the classification of that part of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, from a local purpose (site for a nursery) reserve to a recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Northland Conservator, Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as recreation reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Far North District Council in such manner, at such price or other consideration and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into council’s reserves account, and to be used and applied in or towards improvement of other reserves generally, or towards the purchase of other land for reservation.
