Authorising the Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other Land—Rotorua Lakefront Recreation Reserve

Pursuant to section 15 of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby authorises the exchange of that part of the recreation reserve described in the First Schedule hereto, for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Amendment to a Notice Revoking a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury, hereby amends the notice dated 25 August 1988, revoking the reservation as a site for a public hall, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 15 September 1988, No. 157 at page 3663 by substituting the Schedule with the following:

“2883 square metres, more or less, being part Reserve 5243, situated in Block IV, Elephant Hill Survey District. Balance of New Zealand Gazette, 1967, page 1772”.

Revocation of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury, hereby revokes the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Mackenzie District Council at current market value, and on such terms and conditions as The Mackenzie District Council may determine. Proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the said council’s reserves account, such money to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
