Approval of Organisation or Person Providing Area Knowledge Tests for Taxi Drivers
Pursuant to section 18A (4) (b) of the Transport Services Licensing Act 1989, as amended by the Transport Services Licensing Amendment Act (No. 3) 1992, and pursuant to a delegation authority given by the Director of Land Transport Safety Authority in an instrument of delegation dated 23 December 1996, I, Peter William Stevenson, Regional Compliance Officer, hereby approve the following person to conduct area knowledge tests for taxi drivers in Local Authority District Dunedin 420 and issue certificates as required by the Transport Services Licensing Act 1989:

Approval of Hazardous Substances Course
Pursuant to section 48 (2) (e) of the Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986, and under powers delegated to me by the Director of Land Transport Safety in an instrument of delegation, dated the 23rd day of December 1996, I, James William Furneaux, Regional Compliance Officer, hereby approve the hazardous substances courses to be run by the following organisation for the purposes of section 70H (1) (a) of the Transport Act 1962:
Central Driver Training School, Blenheim.

Transport Act 1962
School Crossing Point Trial
Pursuant to section 78 of the Transport Act 1962, the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand hereby amends the School Crossing Point Trial notice* dated the 9th day of January 1997 and issued pursuant to section 78 of the Transport Act by revoking those provisions specified in Schedule 1 and inserting those provisions specified in Schedule 2 of this notice.
Schedule 1
The following are to be revoked:

Locations approved
The following locations shall be removed from the trial:
(a) Waitakere City
- View Road at a point, more or less, 40 metres westerly generally of Ribblesdale Road (Sunnyvale Primary School).
(b) Auckland City
- Wheturangi Road at a point, more or less, 130 metres northerly generally of Green Lane West (Cornwall Park School).

Duration of the Trial
The period of the School Crossing Point Trial shall start after the 12th day of December 1996 and shall end on the 31st day of August 1998 unless otherwise notified in the Gazette. The School Crossing Point Trial shall apply to all signs and markings as specified in this Schedule.
