AMP Unit Trust Bonds (NZ) Limited (formally known as AMP General Insurance (NZ) Limited)
Proposed Release of Deposit
The Insurance Companies’ Deposits Act 1953
AMP Unit Trust Bonds (NZ) Limited (formerly known as AMP General Insurance (NZ) Limited) (hereinafter called "the company"), has given notice to the public trustee that it has ceased to carry on the business of insurance in New Zealand and that it proposes to withdraw, pursuant to section 19 of the Act, the deposit which has been made by it with the public trustee.
The public trustee therefore gives notice, pursuant to section 19 (3) of the Act, that being satisfied that all liabilities of the company in New Zealand in respect of such insurance business have been fully liquidated or provided for, he proposes to release to the company on or after the 1st day of August 1998, the amount deposited with him by the company.
Any objections to the release of the amount deposited should be lodged with the public trustee at the Public Trust Office, 117–125 Lambton Quay, Wellington 1, on or before the 1st day of May 1998.

Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988
Notice of Reassessment of Anti-Dumping Duty on Lead Acid Batteries from Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan
Pursuant to section 14 (3A) of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988 (as inserted by subsection 10 (2) of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Amendment Act 1990), the Minister of Commerce gives the following notice:

- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Final Determination and Imposition of Anti-Dumping Duty: Lead Acid Batteries from Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan: Amendment No. 4.
(2) This notice shall be read with and be part of the notice dated 9 December 1991 and entitled "Final Determination and Imposition of Anti-Dumping Duty: Lead Acid Batteries from Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan"* (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).
(3) This notice shall take effect on the day after the date on which it is published in the New Zealand Gazette.

Anti-dumping duty amended—The principal notice is hereby amended by omitting the Schedule (as inserted by the notice dated 21 June 1994 and entitled "Final Determination and Imposition of Anti-Dumping Duty: Lead Acid Batteries from Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan: Amendment No. 3"†, and substituting the Schedule set out in this notice.

Consequential amendments—The notice dated 21 June 1994 and entitled "Final Determination and Imposition of Anti-Dumping Duty: Lead Acid Batteries from Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan: Amendment No. 3", is hereby amended by revoking clause 2 and the Schedule.

Amount of Anti-Dumping Duty
The amount of anti-dumping duty to be paid in respect of the subject goods shall be:
(a) For subject goods from the following suppliers, the amount by which the Normal Value (Value for Duty Equivalent) exceeds the Value for Duty of those subject goods when entered for home consumption. The Normal Value (Value for Duty Equivalent) rates are held by Customs and are confidential to the suppliers:
- Delkor Corporation
- PT Gemala
- Global & Yuasa Battery Co.
- Korea Storage Battery Co.
- Century Batteries (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.
- Watta Battery Industries Sdn. Bhd.
- Chloride South East Asia Pte Limited
(b) For subject goods from the following suppliers, the rate of duty listed in the columns applying to such supplier determined according to the category of battery involved:
