Easement Acquired for Water Treatment Purposes (Lawrence Water Supply) Over Land in the Clutha District

Pursuant to section 28 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, a right of way easement over the land described in the First Schedule hereto, containing the rights and powers as contained in the Second Schedule hereto, is acquired for water treatment purposes and shall vest in The Clutha District Council on the date of the publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Amending a Notice Acquiring Easements for Irrigation Purposes (Maungatapere Irrigation Scheme) Over Land in the Whangarei District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, R. A. Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, hereby amends the notice dated 18 August 1998, acquiring easements for irrigation purposes published in the New Zealand Gazette of 27 August 1998, No. 125 at page 3043 by deleting the following from the body of the notice:

"...are acquired for irrigation purposes for a term expiring on the 31st day of December 2050..."

and substituting the following:

"...are acquired in perpetuity..."
