Blacks Road: from Old Coach Road to a point 300 metres measured easterly generally along Blacks Road from Conway Road.

Old Coach Road: from No. 33 State Highway (Te Ngae - Paengaroa) to a point 100 metres measured southerly generally along Old Coach Road from Sunset Drive.

Sunset Drive.

Wilson Road: from Old Coach Road to a point 300 metres measured north-easterly generally along Wilson Road from Hall Road.

Second Schedule

SITUATED within Western Bay of Plenty District at Paengaroa:

No. 33 State Highway (Te Ngae - Paengaroa): from a point 60 metres measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from Partridge Lane to a point 150 metres measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Lemon Road.

Wilson Road: from a point 300 metres measured north-easterly generally along Wilson Road from Hall Road to McKenzie Road.

Pursuant to sections 52 and 52 (3) of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21(2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice:

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Papakura District) Notice 1998.

  2. The areas and roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities at all times pursuant to section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

  4. The following notices are revoked:

SITUATED within Papakura District at Papakura, Takanini and Red Hill.

All that area with the exception of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) bounded by a line commencing at a point on the western side of Great South Road at its intersection with the southern bank of the Papakura Stream; thence southerly, generally, by a right line to the north-western terminating end of Adios Place; thence southerly, generally, by a right line to the southern terminating end of Elana Court; thence south-easterly, generally, by a right line to the north-eastern terminating end of Hilldene Road; thence due east to the western side of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff); thence southerly generally along the eastern side of Hilldene Road to Hingaia Road; thence westerly generally along the northern side of Hingaia Road to a point 120 metres measured easterly generally from Hinaau Road; thence across Hingaia Road from its northern side to its southern side; thence easterly generally along the southern side of Hingaia Road to the eastern side of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff); thence southerly, generally, by a right line to the north-eastern abutment of the Beach Road overbridge; thence southerly, generally, by a line following the eastern road boundary of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to the south-eastern abutment of the Park Estate Road overbridge; thence south-easterly, generally, by a right line to a point on the western side of Great South Road 150 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said road from Park Estate Road; thence across Great South Road at right angles from its western side to its eastern side; thence easterly, generally, by a right line to the south-eastern terminating end of Alderton Place; thence north-easterly, generally, by a right line to a point on the western side of Opakere Road at its intersection with the northern bank of the Slippery Creek; thence across Opakere Road at right angles from its western side to its eastern side; thence northerly, generally, by a right line to the south-eastern terminating end of Lipton Grove; thence due north along the eastern side of Lipton Grove to its intersection with the southern side of Boundary Road; thence across Boundary Road at right angles from its southern side to its northern side; thence north-easterly, generally, by a right line to the western side of Hunua Road at its intersection with the southern side of Parker Street; thence northerly, generally, along the western side of Hunua Road to a point 420 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said road from Settlement Road; thence across Hunua Road at right angles from its western side to its eastern side; thence southerly, generally, along the eastern side of Hunua Road to its intersection with the northern side of Crosby Road; thence north-easterly, generally, along the northern side of Crosby Road to its intersection with the western side of Dominion Road; thence northerly, generally, along the western side of Dominion Road to a point 300 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said road from Settlement Road; thence across Dominion Road at right angles from its western side to its eastern side; thence south-easterly, generally, along the eastern side of Dominion Road to its intersection with the southern side of Red Hill Road; thence due east by a right line to the southern termination of Redmount Place; thence north-easterly, generally, by a right line to the southern side of Red Hill Road to a point 60 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said road from Gibbs Crescent; thence across Red Hill Road at right angles from its southern side to its northern side; thence north-westerly, generally, by a right line to the northern terminating end of Morgan Place; thence north-westerly, generally, by a right line to a point on the southern side of Settlement Road.
