Amending a Notice Stopping Road in Far North District—Waimamaku Block

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, hereby amends the notice dated 21 September 1998, stopping road, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 1 October 1998, No. 164, at page 3941 by substituting the second legal description from the Schedule, S.O. Plan 49682, with S.O. Plan 49683.

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for limited access road and has become road, limited access road and State highway and vested in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

1. Pursuant to section 114, the land and the leasehold estate described in the First Schedule hereto to be road and vested in The Central Otago District Council.

2. Pursuant to sections 116 (1) and 117, the portion of the road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped.
