Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle
Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On the 22nd day of September 1998 at the District Court at Morrinsville, Samuel Morgan Beban of 18 Kahikatea Crescent, Matamata, was convicted and fined and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence for 12 months from 22 September 1998, following his conviction on 22 September 1998, for an offence of driving with excess blood alcohol (2).
And in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge A. E. McAloon, has ordered that a
silver 1983 Ford Falcon motor vehicle, registered No. LB 9022
owned by the above-mentioned defendant, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.
The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Morrinsville, by 9.00 a.m. on the 23rd day of September 1998.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975
Supplementary Integration Agreements
Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that supplementary integration agreements have been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietors of the following schools:
St Patrick’s School, Taupo.
St Paul’s Catholic School, Ngaruawahia.
The said supplementary integration agreements were executed on the 24th day of September 1998. Copies of the supplementary integration agreements are available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, corner of Bridge and Grey Streets, Hamilton.

Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1998
Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Notice (No. 4) 1998 (No. F100)
Pursuant to regulation 9 of the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1998, the Minister for Food, Fibre, Biosecurity and Border Control hereby gives the following notice.
Notice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Notice 1998.
(2) This notice shall come into effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
- Interpretation—In this notice:
(a) The term “Customary food gathering” has the same meaning as defined in the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1998.
(b) Any reference to “Tangata Tiaki/Kaitiaki” means the person or persons appointed under Regulation 9 of the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1998 as Tangata Tiaki/Kaitiaki for a general customary food gathering area/rohe moana and confirmed in clause 4 of this notice.
(c) Any reference to area/rohe moana means the area from Abut Head to Kahurangi Point extending seaward to the limit of the South Island fisheries waters as defined under Regulation 2 of the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1998; and inland to the boundaries defined for Te Runanga o Te Koeti Turanga and Te Runaka o Kati Waewae in the First Schedule of Te Runanga o Ngai Tahu Act 1996.

Nomination of Tangata Tiaki/Kaitiaki—The Tauwhare whanau, being tangata whenua holding manawhenua manamoana over the area from Piopiotahi to Kahurangi Point, have nominated William Ihaia Tauwhare as Tangata Tiaki/Kaitiaki for the area/rohe moana.

Appointment of Tangata Tiaki/Kaitiaki—The Minister for Food, Fibre, Biosecurity and Border Control hereby confirms the appointment of William Ihaia Tauwhare as Tangata Tiaki/Kaitiaki for managing customary food gathering for the area/rohe moana. The appointment is for a term of 5 years commencing the day this notice comes into effect.

Power to authorise taking of fisheries resources for customary food gathering—The Tangata Tiaki/Kaitiaki may authorise any individual to take fisheries resources managed under the Fisheries Acts 1983 and 1996 for customary food gathering purposes from within the whole or any part of the above area/rohe moana. No customary food gathering of these resources may take place in the area/rohe moana without authorisation from the Tangata Tiaki/Kaitiaki.
