Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Sarah Caroline Buchanan, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for limited access road, which becomes road, limited access road and State highway and is vested in the Crown on the date of publication in the Gazette.

Road Realignment in the Mackenzie District (Opihi River)

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Sarah Caroline Buchanan, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that an agreement to that effect having entered into, the land described in the First Schedule is hereby acquired for road, which pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 8 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the Second Schedule to be road, which pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 8 and shall remain vested in the Crown.

(c) Pursuant to sections 116, 117 and 120 (3), declares the road described in the Third Schedule to be stopped and further declares the stopped road shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 33B/620, subject to mortgage 935078/5 (Canterbury Registry).

(d) Pursuant to section 119, declares the land described in the Fourth Schedule to be taken for severance and amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 33B/620, subject to mortgage 935078/5 (Canterbury Registry).

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Sarah Caroline Buchanan, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule is hereby acquired for limited access road, which pursuant to section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, has become road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Second Schedule has been acquired for use in connection with a road and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

(c) Pursuant to sections 116, 117 and 120 (3), declares the road described in the Third Schedule to be stopped and further declares that the stopped road shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 4C/271 (Nelson Registry) subject to drainage rights created by conveyance 35187 (37D32).
