Dunedin Fire Districts Notice, August 1998

Pursuant to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

1. This notice may be cited as the Dunedin Fire District Notice, August 1998.

2. This notice shall come into force on the 27th day of August 1998.

3. This notice revokes and is in substitution for all previous fire district notices for the districts listed in the Schedule.

Constitution of Fire Districts

4. The urban areas of Dunedin City including the township of Mosgiel are hereby constituted as one fire district.

5. The boundaries of the constituted fire district are defined and delineated on a plan held at the Arapawa Fire Region Office, Wellington.

Pursuant to section 24b of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby declares that the marginal strip requirements set out in section 24 of the Act, shall not apply in the case of the disposition of the land in the Schedule hereto.
