Public Notice of Intention to Apply for Removal of the Incorporated Society From the Register

Pursuant to Section 24 of the Incorporated Societies Act 1908 and Section 320 (2) of the Companies Act 1993

Address of Registered Office: 199 Cashel Street, Christchurch.

Public notice is given that, pursuant to section 24 of the Incorporated Societies Act 1908 and section 320 (2) of the Companies Act 1993, the Registrar of Incorporated Societies must remove the society from the Register of Incorporated Societies on the grounds that the documents referred to in section 257 (1) (a) of the Companies Act 1993, have been sent or delivered to the Registrar of Incorporated Societies thereby completing the liquidation of the society, pursuant to section 249 of the Companies Act 1993.

The Registrar will be obliged to remove the society from the Register unless, pursuant to section 321 of the Companies Act 1993, written objection to the removal is delivered to the Registrar by the 7th day of September 1998 (being a date not less than 20 working days after the date of this notice).

Note: This notice does not affect the Imported Motor Vehicle Dealers Association (1998) Incorporated. That society will continue in existence following completion of the liquidation of the Imported Motor Vehicle Dealers Association Incorporated.
