Appointment of Temporary Commissioner for Kaitaia Intermediate

Pursuant to section 109 (3) of the Education Act 1989, and section 25 (f) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1924, and a power delegated to me, due to the intended absence of the commissioner for a period of 2 months, I, Kathy Phillips, Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education hereby:

(a) Terminate the appointment of Frank William Leadley as Commissioner of Kaitaia Intermediate School, as from 24 July 1997.

(b) Appoint Peter John Joyce, retired school principal, as Commissioner of Kaitaia Intermediate School, as from 24 July 1997.

(d) Reappoint Frank William Leadley as commissioner, as from 14 September 1997.

The Alcoholic Liquor Advisory Council Levy Notice 1997

Pursuant to section 27 (1) of the Alcoholic Liquor Advisory Council Act 1976, the Minister of Health hereby gives the following notice:

This notice may be cited as the Alcoholic Liquor Advisory Council Levy Notice 1997.
The rate of levy payable under section 28 of the Alcoholic Liquor Advisory Council Act 1976, for the year ended 30 June 1998, shall be as follows:

Beer 0.86 c/litre plus G.S.T.

Spirits greater than 23% alcohol by volume 28.42 c/litre of alcohol plus G.S.T.

Spirits less than 23% alcohol by volume 5.21 c/litre of alcohol plus G.S.T.

Fortified wine 5.21 c/litre plus G.S.T.

Unfortified wine 3.19 c/litre plus G.S.T.
