Land to be Acquired, Road to be Stopped in the City of Palmerston North

Pursuant to sections 114, 116, 117 and 120 (3) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Crown Property Services, Land Information New Zealand, Wellington, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be acquired for road, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped, vested, and amalgamated in the adjoining described land subject to all encumbrances registered on the certificate of title at the date of registration of this declaration in the Land Transfer Office.

Land Set Apart for Road in Grey District

Pursuant to section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Crown Property Services, Land Information New Zealand, Christchurch, declares the land described in the Schedule, to be set apart for road, which pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 7 and shall remain vested in the Crown.

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 320 of the Maori Land Act 1993, and in accordance with a recommendation made by the Maori Land Court to the Minister of Transport, I, The Right Honourable Sir Michael Hardie Boys, Governor-General of New Zealand, declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be road.

The 2 areas, coloured blue on S.O. Plan 23968 and having land areas respectively of 8.4 perches and 3 roods and 17 perches, both parcels of land being at present included in the land in certificate of title 432/52 (Wellington Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 24th day of April 1997.
