Municipal Mutual Insurance Limited

Proposed Release of Deposit

Pursuant to the Insurance Companies’ Deposits Act 1953

Municipal Mutual Insurance Limited (hereinafter called “the company”), has given notice to the Public Trustee that it has ceased to carry on the business of insurance in New Zealand and that it proposes to withdraw pursuant to section 19 of the Act, the deposit which has been made by it with the Public Trustee.

The Public Trustee therefore gives notice, pursuant to section 19 (3) of the Act, that being satisfied that all liabilities of the company in New Zealand in respect of such insurance business has been fully liquidated or provided for, he proposes to release to the company on or after the 22nd day of June 1997, the amount deposited with him by the company.

Any objections to the release of the amount deposited should be lodged with the Public Trustee at the Public Trust Office, 117–125 Lambton Quay, Wellington 1, on or before the 12th day of June 1997.

Raspberry Marketing Regulations 1979

Otago Raspberry Marketing Committee Election

(Notice No. 1038)

Pursuant to regulation 15 (4) and the Second Schedule to the Raspberry Marketing Regulations 1979, notice is hereby given that the roll of those persons qualified to vote for the election of 2 producers’ representatives in the Southern Ward to the Otago Raspberry Marketing Committee will be open for inspection during ordinary office hours at the following places: viz., Ministry of Agriculture, Head Office, Wellington, also at the offices of the Ministry of Agriculture at Oamaru, Invermay, Dunedin, Invercargill and Alexandra and at the residence of Bruce Houliston (Secretary), 26 Innes Street, Waimate.

The roll will be available for public inspection for a period of seven (7) days from Thursday, 22 May 1997, during which period any person may lodge with the Returning Officer an objection in writing under his hand to any entry on the roll.

Nomination forms may be obtained on application to any of the above offices or from the Returning Officer, MAF Quality Management, Private Bag 50-035, Mosgiel.

Nominations must be in the hands of the returning officer no later than noon on Wednesday, 9 July 1997.
