Closure of Otira School (3459) Notice

Pursuant to section 154 of the Education Act 1989, and acting under the authority delegated to me, I hereby declare that Otira School (3459), Westland, will close on the 9th day of May 1997 and will cease to be established on that day.

Board of Trustees Election

Pursuant to section 101 of the Education Act 1989, notice is given that the first election is to be held on the 7th day of May 1997, for the board of trustees of the following school:

Christian Heritage College (to be known as Cascade Christian College).

The proprietors of the said school are entering into an integration agreement with the Minister of Education, pursuant to the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975. The first meeting of the board of trustees will be held on the 10th day of June 1997.

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 4 March 1997, which was granted under those regulations to Sheila McLellan in respect of

The centre has ceased to operate.
