Pursuant to section 21 of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Maori Development hereby gives notice as follows:

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Hastings 1997, No. 2.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto, is hereby revoked.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby released from Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.

Pursuant to section 320 of the Maori Land Act 1993, and in accordance with a recommendation made by the Maori Land Court to the Minister of Transport, I, the Right Honourable Sir Michael Hardie Boys, Governor-General of New Zealand, declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, shall be road.
