The Traffic (Kaipara District) Notice No. 2, 1997

Pursuant to section 52 (3) of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and to a delegation from the Minister of Transport, dated 31 August 1990, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne, Secretary for Transport, give the following notice:

Notice

(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Kaipara District) Notice No. 2, 1997.

(2) The road specified in the Schedule is declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area, pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

(3) The following notice is revoked:

SITUATED within Kaipara District at Matakohe:
Matakohe East Road: from Church Road to a point on Matakohe East Road 500 metres measured south westerly generally along said road from Horniblow Road.

Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990

Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990

Pursuant to regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, I, Martyn Jacob de Liefde, Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3 of this notice.

(i) A copy of this notice must be carried in the vehicle at all times and be readily available for inspection;
(ii) This exemption may be revoked at any time;
(iii) Lap seatbelts manufactured to an approved standard are fitted to outboard front seat positions;
(iv) The components exempt compliance with a vehicle standard by this notice are maintained in a sound condition and in good working order.
