Notice of Variation of an International Air Service Licence

Further to a notice in the New Zealand Gazette of 13 March 1997, and pursuant to section 87 (1) (b) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, section 41 of the State Sector Act 1988, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, dated 27 August 1996, and a sub-delegation from the Secretary for Transport, dated 28 August 1996, I give notice that, having received an application from Air New Zealand Limited, the Minister of Transport has varied the international air service licence issued to Air New Zealand to permit the airline to carry on services to Malaysia via Sydney instead of via Singapore. This amendment will take effect from such time as the change of intermediate point on the Route Schedule to the New Zealand–Malaysia Air Services Agreement, from Singapore to Sydney, takes effect.

Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Traffic Regulations 1976

Pursuant to regulation 90 (2) and (3) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, I, Martyn Jacob de Liefde, Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Traffic Regulations 1976 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3 of this notice.

Pursuant to regulation 90 (2) and (3) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, I, Martyn Jacob de Liefde, Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Traffic Regulations 1976 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3 of this notice.
