Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes, Together With a Declaration That the Area Become a Recreation Reserve and Form Part of the Springs Junction Recreation Reserve Vested in The Buller District Council
Pursuant to section 7 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto, is held for conservation purposes and pursuant to section 8 (1A) of the Act, further declares that the conservation area shall hereafter be set apart as a reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, be classified as a recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of section 17 of the latter Act, and form part of the Springs Junction Recreation Reserve vested in trust for recreation purposes in The Buller District Council.

3,8020 hectares, more or less, being Section 50, Block III, situated in Lewis Survey District. All New Zealand Gazette, 1985, page 1654. S.O. Plan 13619.

Reserves Act 1977
Change of Classification of a Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Department of Conservation in the Southland Conservancy, hereby changes the classification of the area described in the Schedule below, from local purpose (recreation) reserve to recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Revocation of Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury, hereby revokes the reservation, as a road reserve, over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Christchurch City Council at such price, and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine. Proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such money to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
