to be adjudicator and mediator members of the Employment Tribunal for a term commencing on the 21st day of March 1997 and ceasing at the end of the 20th day of March 1998.

Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992

Notice of Intention to Apply for Ministerial Approval of a Code of Practice Under the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992—Management of Substances Hazardous to Health

Pursuant to section 20 of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992, I, Robert J. M. Hill, General Manager, Occupational Safety and Health Service of the Department of Labour, in exercise of those powers delegated to me by the Secretary of Labour, pursuant to section 41 of the State Sector Act 1988, hereby give notice of intention to apply to the Minister of Labour for his approval of a statement of preferred work practices or arrangements for health and safety in the management of substances hazardous to health under the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992.

These preferred work practices or arrangements are designed to describe the general health and safety provisions for the management of substances hazardous to health and for the protection of employees and others from exposure to these substances.

Civil Aviation Act 1990

Notice of Variation of an International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 87Q(4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport, dated 28 August 1996, I give notice that, having received an application from Royal Tongan Airlines of Nuku’alofa, Tonga, I have varied the International Air Service Licence held by that airline to provide for it to operate scheduled air services over the routeing “Tonga, optionally via Niue, to Auckland and optionally beyond to Sydney”, with effect from 27 March 1997.
