Resource Management Act 1991

The Resource Management (Approval of Powerco Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 1997

Pursuant to section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Minister for the Environment, hereby gives the following notice:

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Resource Management (Approval of Powerco Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 1997.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Interpretation—In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires, “line function services” has the same meaning as in section 2 (1) of the Electricity Act 1992.

3. Approval as requiring authority—Powerco Limited is hereby approved as a requiring authority under section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, for its network utility operation of the supply of line function services.

Income Tax Act 1994

Notice of Determination of Tax Depreciation Rates

Pursuant to section EG 14 of the Income Tax Act 1994, notice is hereby given that the Commissioner of Inland Revenue Department has issued “Determination DEP24: Tax Depreciation Rates General Determination Number 24”, pursuant to section EG 4 of the Income Tax Act 1994. The determination may be cited as “Determination DEP24: Tax Depreciation Rates General Determination Number 24”.

Determination DEP24 will appear in Inland Revenue’s Tax Information Bulletin, Vol. 9, No. 3 of March 1997.

A copy of the determination is available from Inland Revenue offices.
