In the matter of Buttle & Co Sharebrokers Limited (in liquidation) before Master Faire, Friday, the 7th day of February 1997:

Upon reading the interlocutory application of the liquidator for orders releasing him from his administration of the property of the company; waiving the requirement that notice be given to the creditors and contributories other than by way of public advertisement; and that the books and papers of the company be destroyed immediately and the affidavits of Anthony John Allen and Denise Marie Sowter and upon hearing Mr G. M. Harrison of counsel on behalf of the liquidator and Ms Deborah Forster-Pratt of counsel on behalf of the Registrar of Companies, this Court orders:

1. The liquidator is released from his administration of the property of the company.

2. The requirement of section 172, Companies (Winding Up) Rules 1956, that he give notice of his intention to be so released to the creditors and contributories other than by way of public advertisement is waived.

3. That the books and papers of the company be destroyed immediately following the making of this order.
