Education Act 1989

St Kevin’s College Board of Trustees Student Election Extension Notice

Acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, under clause 9(2) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989, I extend the date for receiving nominations (and all subsequent actions in accordance with the Education (Trustee Elections) Regulations 1992) for the election of a student representative for the St Kevin’s College Board of Trustees.

This action is being taken because of confusion over the original closing date for nominations.

Nominations for the election of a student representative shall now close on 7 March 1997.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 7 February 1994, which was granted under those regulations to Robin Zwhaun Stesel in respect of:

Robins Nest Early Childhood, situated at 1–3 Mary Street, Hamilton.

The centre has moved premises.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Tax Administration Act 1994

Notice of Product Ruling

1. This is a notice of a product ruling made under section 91F of the Tax Administration Act 1994.

2. Product ruling No. 97/15 was issued on 28 February 1997. It relates to a bonus scheme and the application of sections CH 2, CH 3, and EB 1 of the Income Tax Act 1994, as amended by the Taxation (Core Provisions) Act 1996.

3. Product ruling No. 97/15 is essentially the same as product ruling 96/2 issued on 14 February 1996, except that it takes into account the coming into force of the Taxation (Core Provisions) Act 1996 with effect from the 1997/98 income year.

4. A copy of the ruling may be obtained by writing to the Assistant General Manager (Adjudication & Rulings), National Office, Inland Revenue, P.O. Box 2198, Wellington.
