Pursuant to section 32 of the Defence Act 1990, His Excellency the Governor-General has approved the following appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Army.

REGULAR FORCE

Appointments to Commission

Larry Paul Maybee, is appointed to commission in the Regular Force in the rank of Major on a fixed engagement for 3 years. With effect from 3 February 1997, and seniority from 3 February 1994.

Warrant Officer Class 1 William Alan Collins, Royal N.Z. Army Logistics Regiment, is appointed to a commission in the rank of Captain and Quartermaster with seniority and effect from 4 November 1996.

Warrant Officer Class 1 Brian James Donald, Royal N.Z. Army Logistics Regiment, is appointed to a commission in the rank of Captain and Quartermaster with seniority and effect from 2 November 1996.

Warrant Officer Class 1 Leroy Allan Forrester, Royal Regiment of N.Z. Artillery, is appointed to a commission in the rank of Lieutenant and Quartermaster, with seniority from 11 December 1992 and effect from 11 December 1996.

Warrant Officer Class 2 Stephen Bruce Pantling, Royal N.Z. Infantry Regiment, is appointed to a commission in the rank of Captain and Quartermaster, with seniority and effect from 11 December 1996.
