Hastings Aerodrome Landing Charges

Notice is hereby given to all organisations, syndicates or partnerships wishing to fly aircraft into or out of Hastings Aerodrome that the landing charges for Hastings Aerodrome have been changed as detailed below, effective 1 January 1998:

(1) The current annual landing charging system has been completely withdrawn and is replaced by a new Landing Charge Schedule for each landing in accordance with the aircraft MCTOW.

(2) Each aircraft is charged for each landing (in the case of continuous Touch and Go Landings, only one landing is charged.)

(3) Aircraft:

• Under–1500 kg MCTOW $7 per landing plus G.S.T.
• 1501 kg–2000 kg MCTOW $14 per landing plus G.S.T.
• 2001 kg–2500 kg MCTOW $26 per landing plus G.S.T.
• 2501 kg–3000 kg MCTOW $36 per landing plus G.S.T.
• 3001 kg–3500 kg MCTOW $46 per landing plus G.S.T.
• 3501 kg–4000 kg MCTOW $56 per landing plus G.S.T.
• 4001 kg–4500 kg MCTOW $72 per landing plus G.S.T.
• 4501 kg–5000 kg MCTOW $88 per landing plus G.S.T.
• 5001 kg–5700 kg MCTOW $97 per landing plus G.S.T.
• 5701 kg–and above prohibited except by prior written agreement with the Secretary of the Hastings Aerodrome Authority. There is an additional $8 plus G.S.T. processing fee for invoiced Landing Charges.

(4) In the event of an aircraft owner/operator not paying landing fees by the 20th of the month following the landing, a penalty interest charge of $8 per month will be added to the debt incurred for each and every month until the debt is paid.

(5) Privately owned aircraft under 1000 kg MCTOW that are not syndicated or in a partnership will not incur any landing fees.

(6) Any aircraft that damage the aerodrome in the course of their movement on the manoeuvring area are liable for the cost of replacement or repair of the damage.

(7) Transition Arrangements:
All aircraft operators landing at Hastings Aerodrome between 1/7/97 to the 31/12/97 will be charged the existing Annual Landing Fee. This charge will be valid to 30/6/98.

(8) Financial member clubs of the R.N.Z.A.C. will receive a 20 percent discount provided the landing fee is paid promptly by the 20th of the month following the landing.

Any queries or requests are required to be forwarded to:
Secretary of the Hastings Aerodrome Authority, P.O. Box 2199, Hastings, in writing by the 18th of the month following, otherwise a landing charge will be incurred.

The final New Zealand Gazette edition for 1997 is as follows:

The deadline for lodgement of notices under the Companies, Partnership, Insolvency and Land Transfer Acts for this edition is noon on Monday, the 15th day of December 1997.

All other notices must be lodged at the Gazette office by noon on Tuesday, the 16th day of December 1997.

N.B. It would be appreciated if material for this edition was delivered as early as possible.
