Land Acquired for Road in Marlborough District

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Team Member, Crown Property Services, Land Information New Zealand, Nelson, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule is acquired for road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, forms part of State Highway No. 1, which shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Amending a Notice for Road Stopped and Vested (State Highway No. 5), Mistletoe Hill, Hastings District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Warranted Officer, Regional Crown Property Services, Land Information New Zealand, Wellington, hereby amends the notice dated the 10th day of September 1996, published in New Zealand Gazette of the 19th day of September 1996, No. 122, page 3082, under the heading “Land Acquired for Road, Road Stopped and Vested (State Highway No. 5), Mistletoe Hill, Hastings District” by substituting (b) with:

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 (1) and 117 (3), declares the road described in the Second Schedule to be stopped and further declares:

(i) The areas firstly, secondly and fourthly described (now known as Section 1, S.O. 10438, Section 1, S.O. 10439 and Section 1, S.O. 10440 respectively), shall be vested in Carter Holt Harvey Forests Limited,

(ii) The area thirdly described (now known as Section 2, S.O. 10439) shall be vested in Carter Holt Harvey Forests Limited,

(iii) The area fiftieth described (now known as Section 1, S.O. 10655), shall be vested in Carter Holt Harvey Forests Limited,

with the intent that the areas of land referred to in the Second Schedule be vested in Carter Holt Harvey Forests Limited and not amalgamated with the land in certificates of title V2/1033 and C2/1118.
