Dissolution of Board of Trustees and Appointment of Commissioner at Kaitaia Intermediate School

Pursuant to section 106 (1) (aa) of the Education Act 1989, for the reason that so many casual vacancies have arisen that there is no longer any member of the board who is eligible to preside at meetings of the board, I hereby dissolve the Kaitaia Intermediate School Board of Trustees and appoint

Mr Frank Leadley as commissioner

to act in its place.

Acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education under section 101 (7) of the Education Act 1989, I approve Tuesday, 27 May 1997, as the date for the first elections of parent representatives and of a staff representative for the Pinehill School Board of Trustees. I also approve Tuesday, 10 June 1997, as the date for the first board of trustees meeting.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 1 February 1996, which was granted under those regulations to Jenny Forbes in respect of:

North Clyde Kindergarten, situated at Freyberg Street, Wairau.

The centre has amalgamated with another kindergarten.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 11 July 1996, which was granted under those regulations to Kessie Parsons in respect of:

Kids ‘R Us Childcare Centre, situated at 50 Roebuck Road, Gisborne.

The centre has ceased to operate.

Income Tax Act 1994

Notice of Determination of Tax Depreciation Rates

Pursuant to section EG 14 of the Income Tax Act 1994, notice is hereby given that the Commissioner of the Inland Revenue Department has issued “Determination DEP22: Tax Depreciation Rates General Determination Number 22”, pursuant to section EG 4 of the Income Tax Act 1994. The determination may be cited as “Determination DEP22: Tax Depreciation Rates General Determination Number 22”.

Determination DEP22 will appear in Inland Revenue’s Tax Information Bulletin, Vol. 9, No. 2 of February 1997.

A copy of the determination is available from Inland Revenue offices.
