Proposed Release of Deposit
The Insurance Companies’ Deposits Act 1953
Medical Insurance Society New Zealand Limited (hereinafter called “the company”), has given notice to the public trustee that it has ceased to carry on the business of insurance in New Zealand and that it proposes to withdraw, pursuant to section 19 of the Act, the deposit which has been made by it with the public trustee.
The public trustee therefore gives notice, pursuant to section 19 (3) of the Act, that being satisfied that all liabilities of the company in New Zealand in respect of such insurance business have been fully liquidated or provided for, he proposes to release to the company on or after 1 April 1997, the amount deposited with him by the company.
Any objections to the release of the amount deposited should be lodged with the public trustee at the Public Trust Office, 117–125 Lambton Quay, Wellington 1, on or before 20 March 1997.

Animal Remedies Act 1967
Licences Issued and Revoked Under the Animal Remedies Act 1967 (Notice No. 1031; Ag. 154)
Pursuant to section 21 (6) of the Animal Remedies Act 1967, the Registrar of the Animal Remedies Board hereby gives notice that the licences listed in Schedules I and II have been issued as follows:
- The licences for remedies listed in Schedule I are new licences issued, not declared to be Prescription Animal Remedies.
- The licences for remedies listed in Schedule II are new licences issued which have been declared to be Prescription Animal Remedies Class I and may be administered to an animal only
(i) By a veterinary surgeon; or
(ii) Under and in accordance with the authority or prescription of a veterinary surgeon.
Pursuant to section 28 (3) of the Animal Remedies Act 1967, the Registrar of the Animal Remedies Board hereby gives notice that the licences listed in Schedule III have been revoked.
