Harbour Limits (Auckland Harbour) Order 1997

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At Wellington this 29th day of September 1997
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to section 3 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby makes the following order.

Order

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This Order may be cited as the Harbour Limits (Auckland Harbour) Order 1997.

(2) This Order shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.

  1. Auckland Harbour limits redefined—The limits specified in the Schedule to this Order are hereby defined as the limits of Auckland Harbour.

  2. Revocation—The Order in Council of 20 December 1978* redefining the limits of Auckland Harbour is hereby revoked.

Schedule

All that area of tidal waters, excluding the waters of Otara Creek eastwards of the weir as shown on plan marked M.D. 12607, bounded by straight lines commencing at high water mark at position 36° 50.9′ S, 174° 54.1′ E, then to high water mark at position 36° 37.3′ S, 174° 49.9′ E, then to high water mark at position 36° 36.7′ S, 174° 53.9′ E, then to high water mark at position 36° 36.3′ S, 174° 55.1′ E, then to high water mark at position 36° 42.6′ S, 174° 56.7′ E, then to high water mark at position 36° 43.8′ S, 174° 56.7′ E, then to high water mark at position 36° 46.4′ S, 174° 59.3′ E, then to high water mark at position 36° 48.8′ S, 174° 59.4′ E, then to high water mark at position 36° 50.9′ S, 174° 54.1′ E.

Airworthiness Directives

Pursuant to section 72I (3) (a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, and to a delegation from the Director of Civil Aviation, I, Geoffrey Neil Connor, Safety Analyst - Continuing Airworthiness, hereby issue the following airworthiness directives in respect of aircraft or aeronautical products:

  • DCA/BELL407/3
  • DCA/EN/30
  • DCA/UH1/8

These airworthiness directives shall come into force on 9 October 1997.

Details of these airworthiness directives may be viewed at Aviation House, 1 Market Grove, Lower Hutt.

Traffic Regulations 1976

Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Traffic Regulations 1976

Pursuant to regulation 90 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, I, Barry Edward Crocker, Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Traffic Regulations 1976 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3.

  2. Approved two-point lap seat belts are fitted in the front outboard sitting positions;
  3. This exemption may be revoked at any time;
  4. A copy of this notice must be carried in the vehicle at all times and be readily available for inspection.
