Schedule 3
Conditions
(i) The items specified in Schedule 2 (except for seat belts and seat belt anchorages) must be within the vehicle manufacturerβs specifications;
(ii) The items specified in Schedule 2 must be in sound condition and good working order and must not be modified in any way;
(iii) Two-point lap seat belts that comply with the appropriate vehicle standard are fitted in the front outboard sitting positions;
(iv) All seat belts must be securely anchored to the vehicle and all seat belt anchorage must comply with Specification S 120395;
(v) When operated on public roads, the vehicle may only be occupied by a maximum of 2 persons seated in the front seating positions.
(vi) This exemption may be revoked at any time.
(vii) A copy of this notice must be carried in the vehicle at all times and be readily available for inspection.

Alternative Standard for Daytime Running Lamps
Pursuant to regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, I, John Andrew Justice, Senior Engineer, hereby prescribe the standard specified in the Schedule to this notice as an alternative standard for the purposes of regulation 25 and item 14 of the Second Schedule of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990.
