to be a Commissioner of the Law Commission for a term of 3 years on and from 1 October 1997.

Pursuant to regulation 9 (2) of the Surveyors Professional Regulations 1977, the following notice is hereby published.

Surveyors Examination

The New Zealand Acts and Regulations written examination will be held on Friday, the 7th day of November 1997 at 9.00 a.m.

Applications on the proper form, together with the prescribed fee must reach the secretary of the board before the 17th day of October 1997.

Application forms and information about the board’s requirements should be obtained from the undersigned.

The prescribed fee for the examination is $56.50 including G.S.T.

Docket 1296 — Part 91, General Operating and Flight Rules

—pursuant to section 34 (1) (a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990. Comments on this proposal must be received no later than 2 October 1997.

Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Transport Regulations 1976

Pursuant to regulation 90 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, I, Victor Ian Eveniss, Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Traffic Regulations 1976 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3.
