THIRD SCHEDULE

Fish Licences, Licence Fees, and Licence Form

This schedule notifies the definitions and classes of fish licences and fees payable in respect of each class of licence.

Definitions and Fees

Adult: 20 years of age or older as at 1 October 1997.

Young Adult: 16 years of age or older but not having obtained 20 years of age as at 1 October 1997.

Junior: 12 years of age or older but not having obtained 16 years of age as at 1 October 1997.

Child: Under 12 years of age as at 1 October 1997.

Whole season: A Whole Season Fish licence shall enable the holder to fish for and take sports fish in all Fish & Game regions, from 1 April 1997 to 30 September 1998

Fees - Whole Season ADULT YOUNG ADULT JUNIOR CHILD
Licence fee (GST incl) $62 $31 $12.50 Free

Winter: A Winter licence shall enable the holder to fish for and take sports fish in all Fish & Game regions from 1 April 1998 to 30 September 1998 (both days inclusive).

Fees - Winter ADULT YOUNG ADULT JUNIOR CHILD
Licence fee (GST incl) $37 $18.50 $7 Free

Week: A week licence shall enable the holder to fish for sports fish in all Fish & Game regions for any 7 day period nominated on the licence.

Fees - Week ADULT YOUNG ADULT JUNIOR CHILD
Licence fee (GST incl) $25 $12.50 $5.50 Free

48 Hour: A 48 hour licence shall enable the holder to fish for sports fish in all Fish & Game regions for any 48 hour period nominated on the licence.

Fees - 48 Hour ADULT YOUNG ADULT JUNIOR CHILD
Licence fee (GST incl) $17.50 $9 $4.50 Free

24 Hour: A 24 hour licence shall enable the holder to fish for sports fish in all Fish & Game regions for any 24 hour period nominated on the licence.

Fees - 24 Hour ADULT YOUNG ADULT JUNIOR CHILD
Licence fee (GST incl) $12 $6 $3.50 Free

Explanatory Note:

These fees have been set to recover the anticipated costs of management of the freshwater sports fish resource by Fish & Game New Zealand for the 1997-98 season
