Land Acquired for Road and For Use in Connection With a Road at Songer Street, Stoke

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Team Member, Crown Property Services, Land Information New Zealand, Nelson, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into;

(a) The land described in the First Schedule is acquired for road and shall vest in The Nelson City Council on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) The land described in the Second Schedule is acquired for use in connection with a road, subject to Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987, and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Notice of Intention to Take Land at Wenderholm (Block IV, Waiwera Survey District) for a Regional Park

Notice is hereby given that The Auckland Regional Council proposes to take under section 23 of the Public Works Act 1981, the land (commonly known as Mahurangi Island located immediately adjacent to Wenderholm Regional Park) described in the Schedule to this notice for regional parks purposes to be used as part of Wenderholm Regional Park.

The taking is considered reasonably necessary for the development of Wenderholm Regional Park as a recreational facility for the people of the Auckland region.

Any person having an estate or interest in this land and wishing to object must send a written objection to the Registrar, the Environmental Court, P.O. Box 5027, Wellington, within 20 working days after the date of publication of this notice.

All that piece of land containing 5100 square metres, situated in Block IV, Waiwera Survey District, as shown on Survey Office Plan 68317 and being all of the land comprised in deeds index 5B/4 (North Auckland Registry), located in the tidal inlet between Waiwera and Wenderholm Regional Park.

A copy of the plan is available for inspection at the offices of The Auckland Regional Council Parks Service, Level Three, Bell South Centre, 21 Pitt Street, Auckland, between the hours of 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. weekdays.
