Acting District Court Judge Appointed

Pursuant to section 10A of the District Courts Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General, has been pleased to appoint

Michael John Green, District Court Judge, to retire on 9 February 1997
to be an Acting District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction, and to exercise the criminal jurisdiction of the District Courts under Part IIA of the District Courts Act 1947, at such place or places and for such period or periods only as the Chief District Court Judge may fix, for a term of 12 months on and from the 10th day of February 1997.

Surveyors Examination

Pursuant to regulation 9 (2) of the Surveyors Professional Regulations 1977, the following notice is hereby published.

The professional interview examination will be held the week starting Monday, the 17th day of March 1997 at 8.45 a.m.

Applications on the proper form, and all projects together with the prescribed fee must reach the secretary of the board before 14 February 1997.

Application forms and information about the board’s requirements should be obtained from the undersigned.

The prescribed fee for the examination is $207.00 including G.S.T.
