Notice of Appointment of Member of the New Zealand Tourism Board
Pursuant to section 11 and clause 3 of the First Schedule of the New Zealand Tourism Board Act 1991, the Minister of Tourism is pleased to appoint
Sir Howard Leslie Morrison, O.B.E., entertainer of Rotorua
to be a member of the New Zealand Tourism Board for the period expiring with the close of 31 July 1999.

Industry Training Act 1992
New Zealand Federated Builders’ and Contractors’ IAOE Incorporated
The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, the 19th day of August 1996, the New Zealand Federated Builders’ and Contractors’ IAOE Incorporated, was granted recognition to extend its coverage as an Industry Training Organisation for the Solid Plastering and Tiling Industry.
In addition to those skill standard setting areas for which the organisation has previously been recognised, it will also set standards on the National Qualifications Framework in the following areas:
Solid Plastering, Tiling, Levels 1–4.
The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested organisations over the setting of skill standards.

New Zealand Meat Industry Association Incorporated
The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, the 19th day of August 1996, the New Zealand Meat Industry Association Incorporated was granted full recognition as an Industry Training Organisation for the Meat Processing (excluding Poultry) and Fellmongery Industry.
It will set standards on the National Qualifications Framework in the following areas:
Meat Processing (excluding Poultry) and Fellmongery Operations, Levels 1–6.
The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested organisations over the setting of skill standards.

Traffic Regulations 1976
Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Traffic Regulations 1976
Pursuant to regulation 90 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, I, Peter Nicholas Rendall, Senior Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicles specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements contained within regulation 67 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, to permit these vehicles to display a white and red flashing or revolving lamp, subject to the conditions specified within Schedule 2 of this notice.
Schedule 1
Vehicle Details
Vehicles authorised by the New Zealand Fire Service for use as control vehicles.
Schedule 2
Conditions
A white and red flashing or revolving lamp may only be used when the control vehicle is:
(i) Stationary;
(ii) At the scene of an emergency or simulated emergency;
(iii) This exemption may be revoked at any time.
Revocation of Exemption
I hereby revoke the exemption published in the New Zealand Gazette on 21 August 1975, No. 69, page 1865, titled “Exemption to Allow Display of Blue Lamp in Terms of Traffic Regulations 1956”.

Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Traffic Regulations 1976
Pursuant to regulation 90 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, I, Peter Nicholas Rendall, Senior Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements contained within regulation 78 (1) (a) and (b) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
