Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence, dated 5 August 1995, which was granted under those regulations to Sister Annette Green in respect of St Joseph's Crèche, situated at 22 Sussex Street, Wellington.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

Miramar Christian School, Miramar.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on the 29th day of January 1996. A copy of the supplementary agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, 65 Waterloo Road, Lower Hutt.

Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Attendance Dues) Notice 1995

Pursuant to section 36 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, the Minister of Education hereby gives notice approving the charging of attendance dues at Seventh-day Adventist Schools.

Notice

1. This notice shall be cited as the Seventh-day Adventist School (Attendance Dues) Notice 1996.

2. The proprietor of the above-named schools may enter into an agreement with the parents or other persons accepting responsibility for the education of a child at the above-named schools requiring them to pay attendance dues.

3. The attendance dues payable in respect of any pupil shall be $320 (exclusive of G.S.T.) per annum for primary pupils and $480 (exclusive of G.S.T.) per annum for secondary pupils.

4. Attendance dues received by the proprietor shall be used for the purpose of paying for such improvements to, or for such capital works associated with, the buildings and associated facilities of the above-mentioned integrated schools as may be required or approved by the Minister of Education, pursuant to section 40 (2) of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, or for meeting debts, mortgages, liens or other charges associated with any of the land and buildings that constitute the integrated school.
